One of the most important parts of my job as Assistant Sports Information Director was to manage the Athletic Department’s social media accounts.
The responsibilities included creating a schedule of posts of upcoming games, that would be sent to all of our social media accounts, live-game tweeting and keeping the student body and community updated on student-athlete accomplishments.
Working for a NCAA Division II school afforded me the unique opportunity to touch all aspects of the creative endeavor that is marketing six Men’s sports and seven women’s sports.
Besides posting the graphics, I was in charge of in-game photography, editing, creating content, and press releases.
